A graphic with the text "likely stories" surrounded by white line drawings of leaves, a butterfly, a steaming cup, and stacked books on a muted green background.
A cozy scene with a book, a bunch of purple flowers, a mug of coffee, a lit white candle in a glass jar, and a gray knitted blanket on a windowsill.
A stack of five books with a cup on top, all illustrated in white lines on a green circular background.

Meet Your Host

Rachel Vine is a developmental editor, story consultant and coach, and children’s librarian based in Boorloo (Perth, WA). With a background in education, librarianship, and postgraduate study in Editing, Publishing, and Children’s Literature, she brings both heart and craft to every story she touches.

Through her boutique editing house, Wildflower Editorial, and her podcasts, Rachel supports authors of children’s and youth fiction to grow their manuscripts from tender seedling to full bloom.

She believes in the quiet power of words, the wonder of a well-told tale, and the kind of stories that plant roots in young readers’ hearts.

Rachel works from a light-filled office shared with three distractingly handsome cats, a stack of half-drunk French Earl Grey teas, and an ever-growing book collection arranged in rainbow order.
